gratitude.

if anyone has visited my parents home at this time of year, (or knows my mother in anyway) knows that the decor of our house just kinda skips right over all fall holidays and goes straight to christmas. yes, todd and i are the people who listen to christmas music in november. heck, we listen to it all year around.. :)  

but! just because the decor off the house and our music selection portray a like christmas theme, 

doesn't mean that we skip over thanksgiving itself or skip over thinking about it too! (i just happen to think the decor for christmas is cuter. and, there really isn't any thanksgiving songs that i'm aware of..) 

thanksgiving is a beautiful time. i try to do my best to be grateful for all i have in my life constantly, but thanksgiving (and the month it resides in) is just a wonderful reminder to keep it in the front of our minds. 

i can't even begin to understand why i am so blessed. 

all i can do is just try to live my life in a way that shows my Heavenly Father how thankful i am for all He has and continues to bless me with. 

so for now, yes, i will still be rocking out to "santa clause is coming to town" and "jingle bell rock" but that doesn't mean that i'm not celebrating, remembering and giving thanksgiving the respect and credit it deserves.  :)
